The Stillery's Woud Limited Edition Genever

Woud tastes like a pine forest on the Dutch coast, with a campfire somewhere between the trees. Smoky, spicy and warming. A limited-edition genever for long winter evenings, or for that friend who collects bottles.

INTO THE WOODS

Woud is Dutch for woods. It was dreamed up in our distillery, inspired by the pine forests along the Dutch coast. We went into the woods, foraged wild pine cones and distilled them. That pine cone distillate is the star of the show. The supporting cast: lapsang smoked over a pinewood fire, cinnamon, cloves, star anise and our spelt malt wine. Every bottle is numbered.

IN THE GLASS

Smoky pine up front, then cinnamon, clove and star anise, resting on a warm layer of caramel.

BY THE FIRE

Neat: 35 ml Woud at room temperature in a tulip glass, ideally near a crackling fire.

Woud Old Fashioned: 50 ml Woud, 5 ml sugar syrup, 2 dashes Angostura bitters. Stir on a large ice cube and finish with orange zest.
