The Stillery's Dutch North Sea Gin
A fresh, salty gin for the Martini and the dinner table. For anyone who'd rather smell the sea than the flowerbed.
ONE FOOT IN THE SURF
And the other in the dunes. The Dutch North Sea Gin is the sister of our Most Floral Gin: an ode to the North Sea coast, with Dutch seaweeds, sea buckthorn, rosehip and juniper, plus local dune botanicals such as bramble and raspberry leaf. And the water? Purified in the North Holland dunes. The mermaid on the label holds a juniper berry, as any self-respecting figurehead should: half sea, half land.
AN INVADER IN THE BOTTLE
Then there's Japanese wireweed, an invasive seaweed spreading fast along the Dutch coast. Nobody invited it. It ends up in our distillate, so we're fighting it, bottle by bottle. Somebody has to.
SALT ON YOUR LIPS
Tasting notes: fresh and saline on the nose. Bramble leaf and rosehip on the palate, with juniper underneath. Round, with a fresh, salty finish.
STIRRED, NOT SHAKEN
Maritime Martini: 70 ml Dutch North Sea Gin, 50 ml dry vermouth. Stir over ice until ice-cold, strain into a chilled glass and garnish with a sprig of samphire.
North Sea G&T: 50 ml Dutch North Sea Gin, 150 ml Mediterranean tonic, plenty of ice, finished with samphire or a few blackberries. Also good with mackerel.

THE JURY GOT THERE FIRST
It only reached the shelves in October 2022, but the jury tasted it in 2021, under its working title: Dutch Coastal Gin.
