The Stillery & Cityguys: Whisky Hot Shot
A spicy whisky liqueur for people who like a shot with some fight in it. Made with our friends at Cityguys: 28%, sweet enough to sip, hot enough to notice.
It started as Operation Hot Sauce. We fermented a batch of hot sauce in one of our whisky barrels, mostly to see what would happen. When the sauce came out, the wood was still loaded with flavour. Rinsing that away felt like a waste, so we let a whisky liqueur soak up everything the sauce left behind. Limited edition: once it's gone, it's gone.
Tasting notes
Sweet nose with herbs, nuts and a hint of chocolate. Creamy on the palate, then the heat builds. Long, warm finish. Not for sensitive taste buds.

As a shot: 25 ml, chilled.
