SOLD OUT - The Stillery Amsterdam Whisky - 750 Jaar Amsterdam Editie
Sold out. A city only turns 750 once. For 750 years of Amsterdam we bottled a one-off whisky of rye and spelt in 2024: 359 bottles, four years in our distillery in the harbour, finished on a Pedro Ximénez sherry cask.
Gone is gone, and this one is gone. Whisky expert Bram van den Berge looked back on it in his review of the 2024 whisky year. Honesty is the best policy, so here's the full quote:
“Die whisky was misschien wat te hoog geprijsd, maar wel echt een leuke collector’s edition om in huis te hebben. HOW IT TASTED
Nose: ripe apricot, light peat, raisin and honey. Palate: fruity with apricot and cherry, soft smoke, rye bread, raisin and honey. Finish: long, with apricot, sweet fruit and honey.
